School is under MID-Day Meal Scheme.

MID-DAY MEAL PROGRAMME

   

      Mid Day Meal is being prepared and served to all the students of Primary and Upper-Primary Classes daily since July 2013 in our school. MDM prepared is also sent to 3 other school in sector 45 by our kitchen since 23/01/2017.

      Food is being prepared in most hygienic conditions in Mid Day Meal Kitchens. Food is served hot & fresh. It is highly nutritious and being prepared according to the norms set up by the department.

Kitchen garden is also maintained in the school premises. Care is being taken by the Mid Day Meal staff for best of hygiene during the preparation and serving of the meals. Workers make proper use of gloves, aprons & head covers.

Pupils relish the hot and fresh food a lot. Student strength has also increased a lot since then in all the schools.

NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (N.S.S)

National Service Scheme (N.S.S) of 44 model is active since last 11 Years under the leadership of Programme Officer Mrs. Anjali with enrolled 100 Volunteers. The team of NSS lives upto their Motto “Not Me But You”

They are active all through the year and their participation in “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” is laudable. They not only keep the school clean but also help in keeping the whole sector clean and tidy. They also strive to keep their adopted village “Burail” clean.

Volunteers spread the awareness about social evils by presenting Nukkad Nataks, Poems, Stories and Dramas etc.

NSS Volunteers also take part in Camps organized in the school from time to time. They pledge to give the self less service to the society.

Volunteers provide their selfless service to polio drives, Mid Day Meal and Traffic drives
